We’ve also finished editing our first DVD of Alex videos, and we’ll be sending that around to a lucky few in the next week. However, for everyone else, check out the new HD video we put online. We’ve even come up with a very professional looking logo and intro for our movie studio “RelativelyCrazy Pictures”… for those of you who know us, you’ll know that cypress trees have been a running joke between us every since we started hanging out with Erin and Steve back in California. During one of our first road trips together up the California coastline, I apparently could not come up with any good small talk and decided to point out the neat cypress and eucalyptus trees that occasionally dotted the coastline. However, for lack of better conversation or who knows what other reason, I took it a bit too far and starting pointing out all of the cypress and eucalyptus trees I could see (mostly the cypress ones though), even when everyone else couldn’t see them or missed them. Erin and Steve quickly noticed this hilarious trend and to this day joke that I only have one classification group for pine trees… they’re all cypress. :-P Anyway, my lack of botanical knowledge has been a source of jokes for many years (“Damn it Jim! I’m a rocket scientist not a biologist!”). So what better logo than the lone cypress tree on the Monterey coast. As for the production studio responsible for all of Alexandra’s videos, “Mostly Harmless Productions”, is a double reference to Alex, and of course, the complete and updated entry for the Earth in the intergalactic bestselling “Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy”.
