A Long Overdue Joshua Post

Well, I've finally made it to week 37! Now we're just waiting....and waiting...and waiting for baby Joshua. I still have no signs of high blood pressure or pre-eclampsia. That's exciting for me because by this time in my pregnancy with Alex my head was about to explode from the high blood pressure, my feet and legs and face were almost as puffy as as the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man from Ghostbusters, and I had to be induced to stop the illness from getting worse. I'm very thankful that this pregnancy has turned out differently so far!

Anyway, while we've been waiting for Josh to make his appearance, we've finally finished the nursery! Yeah! Here are some pictures:

A Wonderful Mother's Day!

I had a wonderful Mother's Day yesterday! Scott let me sleep in late and then served me breakfast in bed. Alex picked a small bouquet of flowers and drew a card for me. Then we had lunch at Taco Bell (I know, I know....but I LOVE Taco Bell!!!!) and then we did a little bit of mall walking and I got a box of Godiva chocolate. Yum!

And to top it all off, we spent the afternoon in our new backyard accessory....THE POOL!

Silly Girl!

Had to share some cute photos of Alex, she's growing up so much lately, and getting into everything! She can climb pretty good and also likes to help mommy sort the tuperware.

She also really likes the fact that Dad installed drinking fountains around all the trees and bushes in the backyard... really comes in handy if you are thirsty!
